The Bungalows

The bungalows are a charming retreat on the edge of the forest with full sea views of the beautiful coastline, creating a remarkable setting for any nature lover. Constructed from natural materials such as Borneo Cedar and Palm leaf roof, the bungalows embrace an open design that allows the surrounding beauty to flow seamlessly into the living spaces.

Inside, the airy interior is tastefully furnished with hand-crafted wooden furniture, soft, linens, and locally inspired decor that exudes a sense of calm and tranquillity. Large, windows provide guests with views of the lagoon; the sunrises and sunsets viewed from here are nothing short of spectacular.

The piece de resistance of any Tropical Living experience are the outdoor bathrooms under the Milky Way and this is an experience offered with all of the accommodation types at The Serai Inar. This addition is ingeniously integrated into the natural landscape, sitting beneath a canopy of foliage. It features a rainfall shower which is strategically placed to offer privacy while allowing guests to gaze up at the sky and its Milky Way.

Each morning, guests are gently stirred from sleep by the harmonious chorus of birdsong, a natural symphony led by colourful Kingfishers flitting through the trees at the forest's edge. The feeling of waking up here is both invigorating and peaceful, a perfect reflection of the wonderful surroundings.
